In accordance with state and federal regulations implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), this notice is to inform you of Tekamah-Herman Public Schools’ intent to destroy personally identifiable information related to special education services maintained on students who received special education services while attending Tekamah-Herman Public Schools. Files to be destroyed are those of students that graduated seven or more years ago.

Please be advised that the records may be needed by you for social security benefits or other purposes.

If you wish to maintain this information for your personal records, please contact the Special Education Secretary, Renee Petersen, at rpetersen@thtigers.org
You will need to arrange a time to pick up your files. Records will be destroyed on March 1, 2026.
