Our third graders read a story that focused on challenges a boy faces with access to education. The boy's first lesson was building his own school out of materials around him, because they did not have a school. The students practiced making their own "mud bricks" with play-doh to make a school.

Hey hey, it's our first game day of the year!! Good luck to the Tiger Softball team in their Jamboree! No passes will be accepted tonight as this is a fundraiser for the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame. Also, if you'd like to donate some Gatorade to the team for their season, they would greatly appreciate it!

Our kindergarten teachers take a class photo every year, and our sixth grade teachers thought it would be fun to compare their students' first day of elementary to their last first day! This is our current sixth grade class then and now.
Our fourth graders did a math activity with M & M's this week. Learning is sweet!
Just a reminder there will be a 1:50pm (K-6) and 2:00pm (7-12) dismissal for all students every Friday, beginning tomorrow!
What a great first day! We started out with "Expectation Stations" in the Elementary to review the expectations at school and get everyone started on the right foot. It was a great day to be a tiger!

Just a reminder that there will be an assembly for all 7-12 students in the south gym at 8:00am. Students in grades 7-12 will be dismissed at noon, and K-6 students will be dismissed at 11:50am.
