Our third graders read a story that focused on challenges a boy faces with access to education. The boy's first lesson was building his own school out of materials around him, because they did not have a school. The students practiced making their own "mud bricks" with play-doh to make a school.

We are excited to welcome K-12 students back to school tomorrow! Just a reminder that there will be an assembly for all 7-12 students in the south gym at 8:00am. Students in grades 7-12 will be dismissed at noon, and K-6 students will be dismissed at 11:50am.

See the graphic below for this change. All Elementary students should gather on the cement slab (on the South side of the building) before school to meet their teacher on the first day.
