Wakefield's Big Art Show took place last Friday. Tekamah-Herman students entered multiple artworks and competed to make a board game. McKinley (2), Jace, Taylor, Jersey, Haylee (4), Neveah (2), Morgan, Eden & Anna received a total of 14 purple ribbons.

Our last senior highlight for the week is mid-term graduate Emma Anderson. Congratulation Emma and best of luck next year. 24 school days until graduation for our seniors.
As part of their bird unit, our first grade students joined together to complete a challenge to see which "beak" tool works best to dig worms from a bowl! What a great lesson in perseverance and collaboration to get the job done!
Congratulations to the golf team for winning their triangular in Blair tonight! Brody Rogers was the individual champion with a score of 34.
The home baseball games have been cancelled for today, April 3rd due to current field conditions. A makeup date is TBD.

Congrats to Penny and Ian, today's winners of our Paw Draw! Penny and Ian follow our school-wide expectations of being respectful, responsible, and safe.
Our third grade students have been learning about water. They have been studying demands on water, water pollution, and access to water. They had two guest speakers this week. Local farmer, Quentin Connealy, came to talk about water use in agriculture. He demonstrated pivots, talked about where water comes from, and what farmers do to conserve water. Ms. Kelly from the Papio-Missouri River NRD demonstrated how pollutants can get into our water and what we can do to help keep our water clean.
It's a rainy Spring Day but that won't stop us from celebrating our next senior, with 26 school days until graduation. Congratulations Spencer. Best of luck on the diamond next year at Concordia.
