Small town communities are simply the best. Those that invest back into our youth are top notch.
Our welding students, along with Mr. Graig McElmuray were thrilled when Spartan (aka Smeal), out of Snyder, gave a generous donation to the Tekamah-Herman Schools welding program last year. With that donation, THS was able to purchase Miller syncrowave 210 AC/DC TIG and DC stick welders and they have finally arrived! They are pulsed tig machines with high frequency starts to learn aluminum welding. These welders will replace welders from 1977 and 1978.
This donation is not the first of its kind to the welding program. Shamburg Auto Supply donated three tig welders in memory of long time businessman, Steve Shamburg in 2016.
Community support is priceless. We can't thank you enough.
Thank you to Joe Strode and Kelly Tebo with Spartan, for speaking with our students and taking their time to come visit after the arrival of the welders.
