Paul and Allison Potadle, along with the Tekamah-Herman Foundation are proud to announce the Tiger Athletic Summer Camp Scholarship recipients. The 2026 scholarships have been awarded to Kale King, Maryn Paul, Kruze Leichleiter and Kaylee Raue.

Kale King will be a senior at Tekamah-Herman School this fall. King participates in cross country, basketball, and track. He attended the Fred Hoiberg Shooting Camp on June 20th. Kale explains that he likes playing basketball and wants to reach his full potential to be able to become a threat to help his team. 

ISI Wrestling camp is where soon to be junior Kruze Leichleiter has chosen for summer camp this year. Kruze is member of the THS girls wrestling team. Leichleiter holds the current record for most wins as a sophomore. ISA means Iron sharpens Iron. This camp brings in fifteen clinicians who do an outstanding job of teaching students wrestling techniques.

Maryn Paul is starting her sophomore year at Tekamah-Herman High School. Maryn served as the Libero on the THS varsity volleyball team during the 2025-26 school year. Maryn currently holds the school record for digs in a season at 422. Paul is attending the Blue & Gold Position Camp in Kearney in July. She states that she would like to attend this camp to improve her defensive skills and gain confidence after having shoulder surgery.

Kaylee Raue, sophomore, Will be attending Midland University’s Ball Handling Camp and Middle Blocker Camp this summer. Raue is a member of Tekamah-Herman’s volleyball team. She explains that she is hoping to learn new skills and meet new people. She is focusing on blocking and hitting. She is excited to learn new skills and techniques from different coaches.

The Tiger Athletic Summer Camp Scholarship began in 2023. Paul and Allison Potadle created this scholarship in memory of their son, Matthew K Potadle. The Scholarship is made available to all Tekamah-Herman school athletes who are entering grades 9-12. The scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher and the camp must pertain to a sport offered at THS. All applicants must show attributes of good sportsmanship, athletic leadership, and must exhibit an understanding of the importance of skill development and training. This scholarship is made available each spring.
